I'm an undergrad in the US, bio major. I'm, of course, really interested in bugs, I want to get a PhD in entomology after I get my bachelor's. I also really like videogames, music, and art! Oh also my favorite color is orange which is why things are brown and orangey, but I didn't want it to get too bright.

If I had to have a favorite bug it would be either praying mantises or wasps, but I really like all kinds of bugs! Right now I'm keeping some budia roaches that used to be feeders for a praying mantis before it died. They're pretty cute :3 I've owned several praying mantises, but the last two did make it to adulthood. Monty wasn't my fault, he had a bad molt, but Rootbeer was kind of my fault. I'll never know for sure why she died, but I definitely should have done better to keep her enclosure humid. This is a recurrent problem while I'm living at college though, the housing here has no insulation so the heating dries everything out real bad. That's how my isopods died this year, I'm so mad about that. Literally couldn't keep their enclosure moist enough.

If I had to give any reccomendations on first time insect ownership, just get feeders or a bug from outside before you invest on a bug. Insects are fragile and finicky, so it may not be worth spending tens of dollars on a bug that's gonna die on you in a month because you don't know what you're doing.

In terms of videogames, I'm a huge fan of the Fallout series, but I've also been enjoying playing the Metro and Mass Effect games. I think I'd like to do a cosplay of one of those series' some time.

I have some of the music I like available to play on the bottom of the page. I like a lot of different stuff though. Most of it could fall under indie or rock, but I also like some electronic and pop too. Mother Mother and MCR are some of my all time favorite bands, though I don't really like what MM has been publishing lately. The last album of their that I like most of it was the Dance and Cry album. I actually did add some of MMs stuff that hasn't been published online in a long time on my playlist for the site, I'm glad they republished some of their stuff from when they were just Mother, but they didn't republish all of it. MM is really the only band I ever got obsessed with ehough to like, really learn about the band's history and who was involved.

I like to draw sometimes, I mainly like drawing reference type drawings though. I used to enjoy it more, sometimes I'd make some pretty cool sketches, but I don't have as much time or drive for it at college. I do occasionally still draw and sketch, but I don't really post it anywhere anymore. I used to tho. I really like drawing dragons and aliens, but I used to really like drawing cats. Things change. Mainly based on whatever books or games I'm interested in lol. I've made references for my dnd and pathfinder characters too, which can be more challenging if that character is more human-looking cause humans are hard to draw, but I've gotten better at it.
